Just thought I’d spend a few moments letting everyone know what is currently taking place with our little label. As harvest is quickly approaching, we are finalizing preparations for what grapes we will be purchasing, what barrels we will be using, etc. It’s quite exciting and we can’t wait to start the process all over again.

We are also tending to our 2007 reds, which have now been in barrel for a little less than a year. We have racked all of these wines (meaning we’ve taken them out of barrel and off of solids that have aggregated since pressing, moved them into a tank, and then put them back to the same barrels, which have been washed) and they will soon be ‘put to bed’ until after harvest. I must say that I am very pleased with how these are developing at this time - bigger and bolder than our 06’s in general.

And last but not least, we are continuing to sell the wines that have already been bottled. The response to these wines has been quite favorable already, and we expect more restaurants and retail shops to carry them and more consumers to try them in the coming months!
