This is my favorite of the three roses I’ve made up to this point in my short winemaking career – and, more importantly, Christie’s favorite as well! Lighter in color than the last two – a striking watermelon color the colder it gets – this is dry, pure, crisp! It offers up watermelon and strawberry scents with a touch of herb spice thrown in. It’s very dry, leading to a finish that lingers for quite some time – and a wine that screams to either be consumed by itself on a warm afternoon or evening OR to be consumed with a nice salad, fish dish, or pasta with a cream sauce. 90% Grenache and 10% mourvedre. Enjoy! Only 50 cases produced.
